Last Call: WATCH schools: Deadline December 14!
Please complete the information below prior to December 14, 2018 to register for the WATCH Wellness Campus Award. By registering your campus, you agree to take on the role of wellness liaison for this award. In this role, you will receive updates via email throughout the school year from the WATCH committee that should be shared with your campus wellness committee. Start 2019 off with your best foot forward… literally! Join Blue Cure Foundation for the inaugural New Year Night Run on Saturday, January 5th at Constellation Field. In partnership with the Sugar Land Skeeters, we’re on a mission to make fitness fun (again), shine a light on Prostate Cancer (with help from the Sugar Land Holiday Lights 2.5 million lights!) and help kick-start preventative healthy lifestyle choices for the whole family in 2019. All are welcome for an evening of family-friendly fun, featuring our signature 5K run, t-shirts, live entertainment, games and more. Our nurses and teachers are using DonorsChoose.org to find funding for projects and programs they are passionate about! What better way to put a smile on not only the teacher’s face but all those kids who will benefit from the programs?
It is easy. Go to DonorsChoose.org and put in the name of your school or your zip code and all the projects that need funding will be listed. I have listed 2 projects that I found below, but there are bunch more. Let’s bring a little holiday cheer this year and ask everyone to give a little to get a lot of return!
